Getting to us by public transport

It is easy to reach us by public transport. Our nearest stations are Morden Road (trams), South Wimbledon (London Underground Northern Line), and Wimbledon (main line trains and London Underground District Line). If you need to plan your journey to any of those stations, you may find the journey planner on Transport for London’s website or the National Rail website useful.

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to us from Morden Road tram stop. See below for a map of the route.

The walk from South Wimbledon takes about 10 minutes. There is a footpath leading into Lyon Road from Merantun Way, just on the other side of a pedestrian crossing from High Path. You need to turn left about 100 m into the path. See below for a map of the route.

From Wimbledon, it is easiest to get a taxi: there is a taxi rank at the station with taxis readily available. It should take about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the tram to Morden Road (see above), or you can walk, which takes about half an hour. To walk, turn left out of the station along Wimbledon Broadway, and follow the road round until you get to South Wimbledon station. From there, follow the route on the map above.

The day began with a talk that was supposed to be an update about what NRES was doing. In fact [...]
