Computer systems

Efficient computer systems are essential for any company working in our business, and at Dianthus Medical we have invested considerable effort into making sure that our systems are both secure and reliable, thus minimising any risks to your projects from data loss.

Some of the precautions we take include:

  • Daily tape backups of all our data, backup tapes stored in a fireproof safe (plus weekly backups taken off-site)
  • Two internet connections with different ISPs, ensuring continued access to emails in the event of a connection failure
  • Protection from external hackers using a state-of-the-art firewall
  • Antivirus software updated hourly, all incoming and outgoing emails scanned automatically
  • SOPs and staff training to ensure safe computing practices by all staff
  • Regular preventive maintenance by local IT support company to prevent computer problems occurring
  • Rapid emergency response from local IT support company in the rare event of any problems
