EMWA conference in Cyprus
As I write this, it's now less than a week until the next EMWA conference, which will be in Cyprus on 14-18 May.
I'm hugely looking forward to it (not least as a chance to escape all the dismal weather we've been having lately) and the opportunity to catch up with my many friends in the medical writing world. I'll be teaching 2 workshops this time round: one on ANOVA and regression analysis, and the other on critical reading of medical literature.
If you're going to be at the conference as well, do come and say hello, won't you? And if you're not, then I'll be providing regular updates via my Twitter account, @dianthusmed. If you want to follow other tweets from the conference as well, the conference hashtag will be #emwa.
Hi Adam,
I just took a look at the conference programme and realised that I have already attended many (if not most) of the workshops that really interest me.
After having attended EMWA conferences for 10+ years, what motivates you to come, besides hoping to have a better weather than in the UK, meeting old friends and giving workshops?
Best wishes,
Diana
Hi Diana
The main motivation is just keeping in touch with the world of medical writing. There are so many wonderful people at the EMWA conferences, and my main motivation is to catch up with what everyone is doing, learn about what's new in medical writing, share experiences, and of course enjoy a few beers with many fellow professionals who have become great friends over the years.
Even though I've done a huge number of the workshops as a participant, there are new ones being added all the time, so I can usually find something that interests me as well.
Looking forward to catching up with you over a few beers next week!
Adam
