So long, and thanks for all the fish

I'm sorry to have to announce that Dianthus Medical Limited has ceased trading. I spent 15 wonderful years of my life running this company, but that time is now over.

We've worked on some fascinating projects with some wonderful people. I am hugely grateful to all the staff of Dianthus Medical, both those who were there at the end and those who'd worked with us previously, for all their dedication and hard work. You folk are what made my job as director of the company such a pleasure.

DIA EuroMeeting, Vienna

We'll be exhibiting at the DIA EuroMeeting in Vienna on 25–27 March. If you're going to be at the conference, I do hope you'll stop by and say hello. We'll be on stand Y511.

We'll be showing a demo of our new interactive web-based randomisation system (IWRS). We might even have sweeties as well.

Two new vacancies

We currently have two vacancies to work within our data management and statistics operations.

Statistical programmer (fixed term contract)

We have a vacancy for a statistical programmer for a fixed term contract of 4 months (with the possibility of extension). You should be fluent at programming with Stata, and knowledge of clinical research and CDISC standards would be an advantage.

Statistician vacancy

We have a vacancy for a statistician to join our friendly team. The role will mainly involve analysing data from clinical trials, but will also include such things as calculating sample sizes, advising on study design, writing statistical analysis plans, and analysing data from other sources (eg epidemiological databases).
