So long, and thanks for all the fish
I'm sorry to have to announce that Dianthus Medical Limited has ceased trading. I spent 15 wonderful years of my life running this company, but that time is now over.
We've worked on some fascinating projects with some wonderful people. I am hugely grateful to all the staff of Dianthus Medical, both those who were there at the end and those who'd worked with us previously, for all their dedication and hard work. You folk are what made my job as director of the company such a pleasure.
I'm also grateful to all our clients who gave us such interesting projects to work on. I hope we were able to make a difference to some of those projects, and in a good way.
I'm not sure exactly what my own future holds, but I think the most likely option is that I shall work as a freelance statistical consultant. Having said that, I wouldn't rule out having an actual job, so if you'd like to hire me, let me know.
If you would like to get in touch, you can do so via my LinkedIn page or from my new statistical consultancy website.
Thanks again to everyone we worked with: it was fun.
I was fortunate enough to have been given my first "big break" into medical writing at Dianthus back in 2005 when most companies wouldn't hire someone fresh out of academia and was even more fortunate to spend just over five and half years working with some of the best in the industry. So thank YOU very much. A sad day for clinical research. Best of luck for everything in the future.
